I would usually be shocked to see that it is pay on the day for a weekend away game, but this time I am not so surprised, and it may make Villa realise that their prices are ****ing ridiculous if we aren't selling out!!

£41 a ticket! I am going, but well done to those who have just said shove it up your ****ing arse! ****ers.

They were doing a £15 promotion for home fans for the game I think, might have passed the cost onto away. Or they're just brummy ****s.

Villa simply aren't allowed to over-charge away fans, anyone sitting in the Doug Ellis Stand has to be charged £41, its against the rules if not.

Utter joke, after the Scousers and Blackpool selling out to ST Holders I thought I'd nip down to Villa Park on Sunday but quite simply not prepared to pay those prices for that dump!

Praying we win, I'd be soooo happy to do the double over them and leave them in the relegation scrap after 09.

Got my ticket but it is shocking to charge that much. Would be interesting to see what Villa fans in the same stand pay. NUFC.com said we only charged their fans £30 at SJP.

Anyone travelling by rail, there is a strike on London Midlands Rail services so you won't get a train from New Street to the stadium by the looks of it. From what I've seen the number 7 bus from just outside the station is the best bet. Or a taxi if there are enough of you.

    http://www.londonmidland.com/ - here's a link, don't know how to do a hyperlink.

Was a bit surprised myself when I saw them charging over £40 for the tickets but still bought one.

You'd think there'd be a fixed price so that they can't just chop and change to capitalise on teams that have good away support. Maybe charging a bit extra for games against top teams ie, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City, but charging higher prices for a team that nobody outside of ourselves see as being great is a bit off.

Having said that I see that our prices for the Man Utd game are £42 - £67.
