So Holt is staying then??? FFS just give him more money!!! He is irreplaceable!! Sent from my Android using Tapatalk
McNally should appear on primeminsters questions, he would eat them all alive Sent from my Android using Tapatalk
He is certainly not irreplaceable! But the club is and maintaining a good financial structure is crucial for its survival. We can't afford to just up his wages as this then sets a precedent for other players to expect the same and it can all spiral out of control
can't agree. if he wants too much money then we shouldn't cave into him or anyone else requests. the wage structure is there for a reason!!!
But if others are on more and he has been there longer and had a greater influence on our success surely he deserves more? Obviously there's a limit, but surely we can offer him a bit more? Unless we have and he still wants more... Next season will be tougher, we need a goal scorer and they aren't cheap And he is irreplaceable, where on earth will we get another goal scorer like Holt for 400k? It would be a huge fluke if we managed it. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk
don't you think it tells you something that holt wants away to(Mc) is a problem at carrow rd. He thinks the club belongs to him has no respect for directors the tied will turn on norwich if they do not pull him back in line
with all due respect it tells you nothing with any clarity. There are many reasons why he would want away and many why Lambert would. If you're suggesting Holt thinks the club belongs to him i would ask what evidence you're basing that on. If you're refering to McNally, i'd again ask what evidence you've used, but also point out that as CEO he is in many ways directly answerable for the financial security of the company, something he has undoubtedly had to weigh up against any personal desire for more money/ambition shown by players or managers.
His not some bitch who lets people walk all over him if you had Neil Doncaster running your club you'd understand remember how close we were to going into admin around three years? We were so badly managed off the pitch it was untrue the club was rotting from the inside, McNally has run our club like a business that is why his so highly regarded. His handled the situation like an absolute boss.
If there is anyone I wanted to deal with these problems it's McNally. He is far more important to the club than Lambert and Holt. McNally is the man that started our recovery three years a go. Without I have no doubt that we wouldn't be in the Premier League. He brought in Lambert and all the players Lambert wanted and has helped the club become financially secure. Understandably Lambert and Holt have been treated as heroes at this club but I feel McNally deserves a lot more praise than he gets. Actually add Bowcett along with McNally. I feel that he is praised far less than he should be mainly because he isn't the one who deals with the media but he has probably been an important part of the clubs decision making since he has been here.
I wish people would stop referring to Macnasty as Mcnally it is confusing people! And Hampy, you would chew your own nuts off for a CEO like Mcnasty, what have you got? A flock of seagulls in charge in Cleggy! Don't even go there.
Does anyone get the impression McNally loves it at Norwich too? I know it could be famous last words or whatever but whenever I get the impression he absolutely loves the club, in every single interview he mentions what a brilliant club we are. If Holt doesn't see that at Norwich he will always have 26'000 fans singing his name when he plays then the more fool him. I don't think I would swap that for a few more thousand a week at a struggling club. The thing about McNally, which I think you can tell, is LOYALTY is the one thing which he respects. I know Lambert has left now but I think personally he has been loyal to the club, 3 years is a long time nowadays in football and he mentioned that in the interview today. He also knows what he is doing and if he brings in Joe Kinnear as manager I will 100% back it because it's his decision. I have a feeling he is going to go for someone who none of us were expecting, similar to the Hodgson appointment at Fulham and I don't think many people were expecting Lambert to take over at the time he did. In Mcnally We Trust
