Hey people, whats up. Many won't know me, as I have only just returned after an ill-advised switch to JA606. Anyway, this will lead you to be suspicious over my integrity. I cannot do anything about that, so you will just have to flow with me... Those who do know me know I am a decent source when it comes to behind the scenes things. Of course not everything I reveal happens, sadly not every transfer that is persued is completed. But none of it is lies. So 2 in. Well the first is a rather straightforward transfer that will probably be completed very soon. When i say a French defensive midfielder is on his way don't get too excited, for it isn't Yann M'Vila. It is, however, the captain of St Etienne football club Mr Loic Perrin. A 26 year old combatitive midfielder who is decent on the ball. He isn't massively tall or powerful, a bit like Matthieu Flamini I guess would be a decent statement on him. He has had trouble with injuries, and Arsenal will get him very cheap. A very underwhelming signing imo. Second in is a bit more exciting. Luuk de Jong. He is a striker that RvP himself urged Arsenal to sign, as a perfect player to learn from the captain, and eventually replace RvP. This transfer is likely to drag on though. FC Twente, and Steve McLaren, do like the idea of selling to Arsenal, however there are a few factors that need smoothing out. One is Twentes desire to take Joel Campbell on loan for next season. Arsenal see Campbell as first team squad next season if a work permit is guaranteed, and are more willing to loan out Benik Afobe (to a PL side not Eredivisie). Arsenal will thus wait on the Work Permit outcome, and are also trying to convince Twente to look elsewhere in the reserves for a player to take (Ozyakup, Angha and Yennaris are being discussed alledgedly). It seems as if the transfer is likely, the player wants it, both clubs want it and money is not an issue. Just need to sort a few other things out. Now for the player forced to stay. Apparently the reason RvP and his agent are not allowed to talk about ther situation is because Arsenal have told them that there is no way RvP will leave this summer. RvP is angry as he fears an injury ravaged season will see him in a desperate situation next summer where even Arsenal may not want him at a decent wage. Arsenal don't want RvP getting sympathy and a Free RvP campaign started by the media. Thanks for reading. D'Jeezus Mackaroni.
Paul from Piebury? Never heard from him. I have a source but it would be wrong of me to name him, especially as I would lose him as a source and a friend if it came out.
Splatman, was that Eh at me or Piskey? If me, Luuk de Jong and Perrin signing for Arsenal, RvP to see out his contract if he doesn't sign new one.
Hope it's not true tbh. Seems like another bargain basement cop out to me. Why do we always have to 'make do' instead of increasing the odds in our favour by buying top talent? I hope your source has been sold a crock
Luuk de Jong is not a bargain basement cop out, he is very talented. But Perrin is very much second rate imo.He seems more of a stop gap, and maybe indicatin that Coquelin will go on loan to finish his development? (Speculating now, had no tip offs about Franny C)
Dont worry mate - no matter how bad you might think others question your integrity, you will never be seen as having less than Piskie Anyway - I am not sure you have the RVP situation right... if he was so angry why would he not just tell Arsenal that he will talk to whomever he likes?
I meant the press, friends etc... My understanding was that he had come to a deal with Arsenal not to talk with the press...
