    When does hurricane season start in Florida? I went in early / mid June two years ago and I'm pretty sure it started in July time. Could make things interesting.

    Tempting though, haven't booked a hol for this year. Disney and the Toon in one trip, brilliant! Now anyone got about £4000 I can borrow? By borrow I mean have.

    Great news! Great great news! That is the easiest one to get too so far, was hoping for a trip like that. If New York or LA comes up then it would be even better!

    August to October is the worst time for hurricanes in Florida. Was undecided whether to go there or Barbados a few years ago and went to Barbados. Chose November to go to make sure I missed all the bad weather but it lasted a bit longer than usual and I caught the tail end of it. Going to the hotel complex by taxi from the airport you could see tree frogs beeing washed down the guttering. The locals were concerned that all the extra fresh water might harm the coral reefs and even harm the beaches.

    A couple of days later and the weather was back to normal and inspite of taking loads of precautions I ended up getting a bit burned.

    Phoned my Dad to see if we could come over to Miami and he's buggering off to India for the summer!

    Can I just use the apartment as a base? No.
