I think it will be tougher without Lambert is he has really gone, but we definatley won't be in freefall. We just need to appoint another decent manager...
We have to assume that if all this eventuates then we will replace him with someone even better. We cannot just assume that Lambert was or is the only guy who could do a job for us. I'm sure with Macca at the helm, the best man will be selected and we will not only prevail, we will go on to better things. All this does is potentially muck up any transfer dealings that may have been taking place.
Fotunately for the real football world, it looks like the miserable one will commentating or should I say adding "fun" to the ITV commentary team for Euro2012. Poor sod missed, sorry walked, out on his last big tournament. I believe it was because he accused a certain Mr McCarthy of being a crap manager. Biting your own arse is a silly thing to do.
Great opportunity for us to build on the last few years and move on. Good luck with succesfully keeping your manager who is clearly demonstrating his loyalty to club. Seems like he could be at Town for years!
of course, we could have a manager that blackmails the club into giving him more money to spend and put the club at risk!
I don't think he has to be honest. He is a man of dignity and maybe he felt undervalued by the club not letting him to talk to Villa? Who knows, more will come to light later.
