Brendan Rodgers set to take charge at Liverpool

Three weeks after the season is finished we are now safe again for another year ... FFS get a grip ...not a single ball has been kicked and no one knows who is playing who and when ... yet we are safe.

May was well go the record as saying i think Aston Villa will win the league next year. They will announce a massive 400 million can injection and buy everyone with Peppie taking over. We will finish second on goal average and Man City implode and are relegated. I need to log off for the summer

 

Agreed. I don't like this bashing of Swansea after they had a far better season than us. After we beat them we had people on this board giving them advice on how to play even though we were 4th bottom!

If we keep this arrogance up, all the other sh*t teams will hate our guts if they don't already.

 

Well said Superpants ... Swansea have a deep culture in them that means they want to play football at all times ... and they bloody do with league one players. They have everyone a great lesson last year and who ever is the manger apart form Wannock or Big Sam will do the same I am guessing. We have no right to say anything yet to anyone after all we are the team that gave City the Title expect two big thrashing off United next year IMO. I certainly don't want to know we are safe I simply want to earn our position

Swansea have played the same kind of boring but highly effective possession game under two successive managers now so Rodgers leaving does not necessarily indicate a disaster. Perhaps its something in the water in that part of the world.

Agree but as i said on another post these managers seem to do a good job at a club and move on to a 'bigger club' and things go wrong and they are out after 5 months.
Take Hodgson at Fulham. Doing a great job and leaves for Liverpool only to be sacked? (okay in that case he goes on to be England manager but not all do)?
