AmandaRushforth: @iamsmithy ones white, the other is red with thin white stripes, very professional looking According to some model on Twitter (courtesy of SaintsWeb) this is what our kits will be next year, and they've even got a mocked up image to go with it Remember, this is only speculation Personally, I really love the white one, not too sure on the red though EDIT: There is more AmandaRushforth: @danbsfc im not a football fan so unfortunately i paid little attention to the kit details, but its red with THIN white stripes, maybe 5/6? AmandaRushforth: @danbsfc i did a shoot for them, but i have no idea when its coming out.... it was a cool concept tho, very english pride AmandaRushforth: @danbsfc im sure there were more details to the white kit, but not the same way the red one had stripes, so i didnt notice... sorry
Hope its not those thin stripes a different kit is alright every decade or so but at the end of the day the southampton kit is proper red and white stripes you cant muck around with that. Also highly doubt that a model did the shoot, I cant think of a single modle being used to model kits for since Nicola arrived, might aswell use the players which is what has happened. Sounds like bs to me.
That's what I thought as well, but unless they're going for something different or doing a different girls shoot for girls then it probably is bullshit but it keeps us going in the close season!
Well, would you believe it..? Although I don't think it's the best ever kit, as my mood changes on this. I do think it's a great kit though, and could do with an airing, for a season or two.
Terrible. Shirts are only memorable if they are truly diabolical (Pony 'v' shirt) or are associated with success.
That one is associated with Kevin Keegan and later coming second to Liverpool in the league. We have never been more successful than that, so you could hardly be more wrong. Get to know your Saints history.
What? I'm saying that kit aesthetically is terrible. Sorry to see you criminally misunderstand me, of course I know that Air Florida, Rank Xerox era was successful - i was merely stating that if it weren't then people would see the kit for what it is - ****e.
Ah, balls to tradition. I don't want to look the same as the Stoke and Sunderland fans. End of. As long as we keep the colours, I personally think we should bring out some new innovative design every two years. That way not only would you have something exciting to look forward to, but it would be a point of interest to all the other fans. The sash was great, really stood us out. If I'm totally honest I get bored of the stripes. Got about ten of them hanging up in the wardrobe now, whoopie do!!
I have to agree, when Fulham played Athletico in the Europa final, I was supposed to be supporting Fulham in solidarity for my mate, however as much as I tried I couldn't help cheering every time the red & white stripes got the ball! the red & white with the blue shorts was a great combo.
