I am a member but I'm nothing behind the scenes so I wouldn't know, but there seems to be something thats making me think that is true
If this is the case and it is between both of those, I'd be very happy and it would appear that the Allams do have a lot of ambition when it comes to recruiting our next manager. At the end of the day, they are businessmen and want Hull City to be a success just like their own business. They want to give their customers i.e. the fans what they want and that's a successful football team. I'd be hugely disappointed if we did end up with Blackwell, less so with Kilbane as I think he would make a decent manager but why would he be so different from Barmby i.e. no managerial experience at this level?
Each manager has their quite obvious faults but it would mroe be a signal of intent. The rest of the division and indeed country would sit up and take notice.
Who knows! When all this started 3 weeks ago McCarthy and Davies were my preferred people out of those available.
A team built around Killer and Paul McShane, bids for the Brothers Hunt and John Aldridge coming in as first choice striker? Edit - in all seriousness I could see KIller as a coach / assistant.
I still want Holloway, he's going for talks with Oysten about ambition so hopefully they won't go well... But i'd be impressed if we ended up with Mick!
