It looks good, but thinking realistically it won't happen.

Would much prefer to see this:

    Krul
    Debuchy - Saylor - Colo - Santon
    Tiote - Abeid
    HBA - Cabaye - Elia
    Cissé

Both new players are realistic targets that want to leave their respective clubs. Only the fee for Debuchy would be the stumbling block, Elia is completely realistic both fee and wages. Also, Abeid is the Box to Box player that we need next to Tiote, he has the potential and with a run of games he will be quality for us. Also, it sticks to the philosophy of the last few seasons by not making radical changes <ok>

Elia would be a very good addition, indeed.

Although I'd be happy to see Abeid made it, I don't understand the people that put him in their teams.

We've seen next to nothing of him.

    Elia would be class though.

Have you not watched him for the reserves? He's head and shoulders above everyone and with that team around him, he would easily adapt to this league.

I agree, I've seen him in reserve match highlights and pre-season matches, but he's not ready IMO for PL standard.

I can see the potential, and has some great ability, but I wouldn't be comfortable starting him in a PL or Europa match yet.

You can rule out around 70% of that team mate

Too many of these formations leave out one of our top performers, Jonas!

Anyone think we should go for Milner, would rather go for him than Adam Johnson.

I'd much prefer this, but do you think he'd come back and could we afford him?

I think he would come back, he looked down when he went around the pitch warming down after the game at St James Park earlier this month. The wages might be a problem thoughI would imagine that both him and Johnson are amongst the lowest paid players at Man City.

I don't agree with CY Lee in a free role, the guy is a winger, surely it would make more sense to have HBA in the free role, as he's more talented.

I loved him when he was here and def think he fitted into the 'don't know what you've got till he's gone' category.

Been out the loop for a while on here - any word on who Cabaye's mate was that Pards was talking about on BBC Newcastle at the end of the season?
