.. which is frankly ludicrous at this stage, given how mediocre we were last season... http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2791083,00.html
Last time I looked at oddschecker – the majority of bookies had us down to win the league. 6:1 on was the best odds I found. Its ludicrous of course!
Some of those odds are laughable, Huddersfield the same odds as Derby, Blackburn the same odds as Brighton and Cardiff ... and Forest better odds than any team, all laughable, also the spelling
I hate being favourites! We're better off when no-one fancies us! Although I think we were favourites when we were in League One...
After being one of the clear favourites last year with WHU, you can see why bookies make so much money.
We're not second favourites to sign Heskey, we're not even 50th favourites, even if we had a manager I wouldn't expect us to be linked with him.
wonder how much our odds will drift out, if we have yet another s***e start to the season lol, im def not going along with the bookies, ill keep my money iin my wallet, well apart from what ive parted with for my season ticket lol, and just see what happens in the 1st few games. i for one am def not gonna be getting carried away, expectations are being kept firmly in check
Top 6 would be good for me, a couple of teams could run away with this division, but we cant tell who until we see what players come and go from all clubs. Ask me again once the transfer windows closed
Yes, this past season was the one where virtually anyone who put a few good runs together could get promoted. Next season it's more of a case of "who will miss out?", with the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Wolves, Birmingham, Boro, Blackpool and Cardiff. That's seven clubs that could very easily finish above us, and I haven't even mentioned the perennial also-rans, one of which will inevitably surprise us all, or the clubs coming up from League One, who always seem to do well!
