Love Brass Eye. I agree with you. What i never got was the chumminess of the all the contestants of it. Like when they said "you're a great mate/ person" or "you've got a great personality... and that's why i want you to win" and they'd only met them a few days a go. It's not like they were great friends of years gone by.
Precisely. Or what about when the player asks them to reveal their box and it's, say 250k, and the bloke with the box says he's let them down. WTF?!? You just stood there when they gave you a box you twerp. And dont even get me started on those that claim there's a system...."Number 7 has had the 100k for the 3 of the last 5 weeks so there's a good chance it has again". **** off you grade A ****.
The two things that piss me off most are: 1) The pretending it still matters after they have dealt. The situation above is an extreme circumstance but normally after you've just won say £20,000 why would you be remotely bothered how much you might have won if you did it differently, it's a game of luck and it's not a mistake to stop early it's all guesswork yet they make out like it's just as important as what they have actually won. 2) The other thing is when Noel says things like "It absolutely has to be the penny next." as if 5p wouldn't be good enough. There's 4p difference for ****'s sake Noel! It is not going to make the slightest bit of difference, the bottom 5 or 6 numbers all practically nothing in game show terms so it doesn't really make a bloody difference if they pick the penny whatever the next smallest ones are.
