Thanks for the kind words people, but if Portsmouth can sort themselves out is a pretty massive if. It's pretty likely I think that if we don't get liquidated Chainrai'll probably take over and our budget for next season will be about £0 with a wage budget of about £10k for a squad of 20 players, while he continue to pocket the remainder of our parachute money.

Last year the switchover happened on the 13th June, i.e the Monday morning before fixtures came out. I remembered posting something on it on FB and I just checked back to see when I wrote it.

So this year maybe Monday 11th June?

I do remember in 2005 when we were relegated, it only felt real when the BBC dropped us down to the Championship. It was quite a gut-wrenching moment actually. I am far more relaxed this time around and there is no particular hurry.
It does take a bit of extra time now, toggling between the Saints and Pompey boards on here, but that's the price you pay for success.:)

I also remember back in 2005 when were still a prem team on the 606 boards and had to endure countless posts from the promoted teams wanting to know when they will have our place on the boafd. That was gutting and when it hit home that a team like Wigan were now a league higher. It was a reality check.
