Captain Stephen James Healey, who was serving with 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh, was killed when his vehicle was caught up in a roadside bomb blast in Nahr-e Saraj. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ed-Helmand-bomb-attack.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Used to know Steve before his army days. Top bloke, will be missed. RIP.
yes an cardiff boy that was with us...another needless death by this needless war...bring the troops home now.....enough is enough...RIP...Ex serviceman 22 years..
Another unnecessary loss of life, send the politicians out there to fight their own wars! R.I.P Steve............
I get apoplectic with rage when yet more of our soldiers pay the ultimate price for the folly of others. Where are the dead sons/nephews of any politician? Mrs.Windsors' grandchildren often play the media game, and are displayed in full battle dress, bedecked with medals, but how many times have they been on the real front line, sitting in a vehicle that is totally unsuited for the purpose in which it is being employed? Well,we all know the answers to those questions. Oh,and don't get me started on Mrs. Windsors' sons, who are awarded medals, which they display with great pride, for merely getting out of bed in the morning. So,it is with great sadness that we learn of the death of another of the nations heroes. A bit more poignant this time, when we consider his links to Swansea City F.C. R.I.P. brave and gallant man.
