I have never seen this before and it appears that I have 4, yes 4 dislikes!

How can anybody dislike a warm hearted, generous and kind old granddad of a bloke like me.

Who have I offended and why?

I am totally devastated and my pride has been deeply hurt.

How can I rediscover my self respect following such a body blow to my pride?

I know who to blame though and I shall be seeking my revenge so SB3 and JoeyB had better look out.

PS I note that nobody dislikes TSS or Channonfodder and quite rightly so but some idiot has put a dislike against Pompeymeowth.

For goodness sake how can anyone dislike such a gentle man?

Not because history suggests that we very often seem to get a good result, when playing them..? ;)

Two things come to my mind when I think of Newcastle (apart from Alan Shearer). The first is Matty scoring that goal, while the second is Kieron Dyer running rampant against us in an FA Cup tie at SMS. So I think we have unfinished business with the magpies.

Does anyone remember the 3-3 game at St Marys? Think it was the last home game of the season (not sure what season), best atmosphere I've ever experienced at a game with nothing riding on it. Alan Blayney also decided he would turn into Gordon Banks for the evening..<whistle>

Most of the notable matches I can think off against Newcastle are at The Dell [yes, including those two genius goals from Matty. But I also remember the St Marys 3-3.

Sadly, somewhere I still have a recording of the 0-1 up at St James Park, when Dexter Blackstock played in goal for the last 10 minutes. I've think I've watched it twice [glutton for punishment] and I can't believe how bad the standard of football is from Saints. Toon must have been terrible too, to only win 1-0. Mind you, this report says I'm mistaken: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/4703860.stm

Brings back bad memories. Not sure Bart ever truly got over that injury. Seemed to badly dent his confidence. Still onwards and upwards!

Looking at that 3-3, it's something I've occasionally thought about, over the years - can somebody please explain to me why Saints wore tents instead of shirts, for several seasons..? Blayney might as well have worn a Roman Toga for all the fitting his goalkeeper jersey was doing. Self image counts a for lot in generating confidence, and Saints, although the kit design looked good, looked as if they couldn't afford the proper sizes. Amateurish.
