Actually if people focused less on other persons race and stopped trying to cover up satire with bigotry, then we would at least be on the path to a world with no racism. All things being equal though, please provide me a link to similar "satire" written by any of you who find this funny regarding any white Anglo Saxon owners we've had. Ironic thing is of course, the Allams have lived and given more to the area than most, if not all, of the posters in this thread, myself included. I don't get why they're not considered locals now. If I didn't think it would be closed down within 5 mins I'd start a thread about what people thinks makes a person "come from an area and be considered one of our own". I think we know which direction that would head sadly.
I think it's more infantile than racist to be honest. Like how hilarious it is that people in other countries have funny sounding names. Oh and BTW you need to remember the golden rule among some on here that anything vaguely resembling a joke can't be racist and if you don't laugh it's because you have no sense of humour.

Erm Robo...read what I've written, I DO think they're locals but we have a small minority who love to make racist/bigoted (take your pick) jokes about them all being camel owning arabs etc etc and despite Ehab being born here would not consider him either "hull born" or "one of our own" or even "locals". I don't get it either.
