Im all for giving a manager time and i was happy with Bruce before christmas and it seemed he was a manager who can learn as we saw him shift from a 4-5-1 formation to a 4-4-2 formation and saw it worked and stook with it!

    HOWEVER!

I can not for the life of me understand several things:

Why have Sess and Muntari got an automatic seat in the starting 11 every week regardless of performances

Why does Bruce continuously play players out of there prefered positions ie.... sess, hendo, rico the list goes on.....

Why is Hendo guarunteed a place every week regardless of form (admittidley he should be on right wing anyway)

Why did he play Turner and Cats on sunday, both players have been out for lengthy spells???

Why can we not defend or attack with set pieces

Why does hendo never ever ever beat the first man on a corner or free kick?????

And the biggest of em all:

When we kept 11 clean sheets i was not suprised as Bruce himself was a defender and a solid defence is the least id expect so why has it gone to ****??

I losing patience with this bunch of lazy slackers!

Come on Bruce give them a kick up the arse and sharpish!!

    Rant over

    Howay the lads!

    3 points minimum on saturday!!

I find myself agreeing with a lot of this article: particularly the bit about them needing a kick up the backside...

Its getting beyond a joke and i find sundays specticle a total insult to the club and the fans!

Players should be ashamed and the manager and none of this were now looking over our shoulders ****e!

Wish they would keep their gobs shut and do the talking on the pitch!

    Making us look like pricks!

I do agree mate, but i think its harsh on the clean sheet front, we need a settled defence and we havent had that since Turner was injured in Nowember.

I dont see why ther players should be ashamed, we have only really been poor against everton and man city in our last 7 games. Liverpool game was wrecked by injuries and it makes a massive difference as liverpool themselves found out on saturday hwne they went on too lose after having 2 injuries.

Sess played decent away against city and ripped johnson apart, he won 4 corners against city which were once again awful and against liverpool there was never anyone in the box.

Noone is running from midfield and the strikers are having zero movement in the box.

Man City didnt have shots though, we were ****e for the 5 goals and thats what the problem was. They had movement in their strikers and players running beyond, we didnt.

Im fed up because our GD is -9 and we cant score a goal but we need to avoid getting on the lads backs on saturday if it is 0-0 for a long period of time.

Hodgeson will know, defend well and p off the sunderland crowd then you will win.

We really need to go for it and try and batter west brom on saturday like, i realise this will give them oppertunities at our goal if we go full out attack but aslong as we score more than them i aint arsed, we simply have to win!

Another thing, i see from us time and time again that we bang our heads against a brick wall in many games! What i mean by that is that in almost ever game theres no changing around of tactics, one game we will constantly try to pass through the defence for the full 90 mins even if its clear its not working and not mix it up by getting down the wings to cross for the strikers and the next week we will throw everything down the wings and try nothing through the defence, nothing ever changes.

How thick are footballers that when something is clearly not working they cant take it opon them selves and change the game plan?
