Not sure why the need to mention Defoe, they are completely different types of forward. Interesting to note that Defoe scored 17 goals in 38 matches last season!! Grant Holt scored 17 goals in 38 games too, I would venture that as Holt started more frequently than Defoe (12 subs to Defoes 17) that Defoe scored his in less game time than your man. I cant deny that I was amazed that Holt did so well in the prem, cos in the league 2 play off final of 2009 he was totally anonymous..Maybe Roy was there that day too!
http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2787639,00.html Our goals of the season and some corkers from Holt. Would be interesting to see if Carroll has bagged any like those.
I was thinking of doing the same. I really wouldn't be surprised if we scored five-fifths of **** all in the Euros. Let me know what you find.
Not restricted to just the scoring part of the game though, is it? Watch Carroll when England don't have the ball...
Dreadful to watch. Mostly the same old faces - the same old failures. Edit. Just to put a bit of perpective on it. Just flipped over channels and caught Jedwards performance at Eurovision. And it was less painful to watch than the football.
It was devoid, boring and the same old **** Carroll, ****ing useless. We're going to get raped at the euros.
I don't know why Ruddy had to leave the squad after breaking a finger...............................surely he still has 11 good ones...
Good to see the Liverpool players Kelly, Henderson and Downing deservedly get a game, showed some really potential
I know its just a friendly, and i know it isnt the end of the world, and I know we won, but the game had no indication whatsoever that we are going to do anything at the euros but massively, massively fail. The ITV commentators/summarisers as well, my god, I swear they are brain-dead, thats the only excuse for some of their comments.
