Beat me too this thread, players from both teams were brilliant with him shows that not all footballers are self obsessed twats.

Can you imagine being known for the rest of your life as the guy who stopped a 5-yr-old scoring in his Dad's testimonial?

Looked a foul on the covering defender if I'm honest. Officials had a shocker there

Exactly, but I meant more the manor in which they let him score. Didn't just stand there and watch him walk through them, they played with him pulled his shirt and things!

Very nicely done by all concerned. Don't laugh though. Pompey's first team might feature players about his age next season.....;)

What a lovely moment, and like someone else said, he will remember that for ever. So will the Dad. :D

Loved that despairing lunge from the central defender! Apparently Vadim Evseev is the player retiring, last club Torpedo BelAZ Zhodin in Belarus. Nice to see clips like this, shows Football can be a decent sport

Yeah, agreed. I thought the players were brilliant too. Reminded me of Mitchell Le Tissier a little bit during his father's testimonial. Only Mitchell was quite a capable little laddie.

I was going to mention the same thing. He really was quality for his age. One of his goals I remember that the goalkeeper (Beasant?) really did try to save but he took it round him. Tiss reckoned he was better at cricket though.
