Neither, I'll be watching The Wire. For those who have never seen it, I strongly recommend you watch it.

Maybe because they have very similar cultures? How very narrow minded and cynical.

Personally, if I was a woman I'd go for my face. Even still, I'm going to guess she was what I would consider far too thin when she was younger as well.

Ended up at a friends get together, watching Eurovision. We even had papers to score the songs on. I had to mark on their ability to either make me reach for the vomit bag or not. Not a single song had a shred of merit, in my opinion, and most of us thought that too. I had Sweden marked down as 15th..! Jeez, they like some crap in Europe/Asia. Poor old Hump got the hump..! As QWERTY says, at least we beat Norway again.

I didn't think Sweden's entry was all that great tbh although the singer did sound a bit like Beyonce. I personally thought Denmark, Turkey, Serbia, Romania and Bosnia were all much better and the aforementioned Netherlands of course.

Some of these people are already famous in the countries next door. It's like us giving 10 points to Jedward despite them being crap. Some songs get toured extensively too. The best way to get people to vote for one piece of crap over another is for people to be aware of the songs and the artist before the competition. With a decent song, a popular artist and the mother of all logistical operations to spread the song around Europe, we probably could win it. In truth though, Eurovision has such a reputation for crap that we're unlikely to bother.
