Thats well over 1m a month. Who the hell needs that sort of money? What the chuff could you do with it? i think part of the problem with the headline pay increase is the massive amount of taxt they pay in the UK as opposed to some dodgy low tax offer at20% to Sports stars in Spain .

Supply and demand is the best way to decide income in a perfect (or near perfect) market. Whether CEOs of large businesses are operating in a perfect market or there's a conspiracy to fleece shareholders and customers is a different matter.
