Shame, i was thinking of lube wrestling for the ladies teams. I don't see whats wrong with penalties.
I've got it - we could have a round of 'It's a Knockout' - with the players dressed up in huge inflatable outfits trying to complete an assault course.
More to the point, how can we solve the tragedy of having such a corrupt **** in charge of the beautiful game?
The aim is to encourage positive football, penalise "anti-ball tactics" and "teams playing for penalties" and be seen to be fair. At the end of 90 minutes if it is a draw, the game is given to the team with the highest number of shots on targets and least number of fouls. The number of corners should not be used as we know how some "lesser players/ teams" keep hitting the ball onto opponents to get corners.
It is a case of "excitement" Vs rewarding teams playing positive football. Pre-Premier League traditional Brisith football lofting the ball into a crowded penalty area (still practiced by the lesser and lower division teams) ending with the ball being bundled in is exciting. However, is that what people are prepared to pay to watch. One may as well go to go to the park on a Sunday on a wet winter day and watch it free !
Let the wags have a giant mud wrestling competition in the middle of the park. Last one with her bikini intact wins.
Russian roulette with a special large pistol loaded with custard in one chamber. Nominate the sequence of players, and each get to fire at their opposite number. When the custard is fired, the team getting it loses.
I think you do 99% of the time, but won't admit it publicly as it would spoil the fun please log in to view this image
