http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18115990 Manchester City are top of the league of value for fans, according to the ING Direct Value table. The bank chart compares club season ticket costs with Premier League performance and entertainment value and getting the most points for your pound. ING places QPR, who just avoided relegation, at the bottom of the table, due to high ticket prices and boring football. Liverpool are second bottom
Up North it's always cheaper though. People down south earn more therefore can afford to pay more. Go to the Midlands and they think paying £30-£35 is a rip off. At Chelsea we'd see that as cheap same with other clubs. Like us in the CL, QPR will of had to charge more because their stadium barely meets PL requirements. Same with the Bridge in the CL. Sorry but 37,000 is not near good enough for a club of our size and stature on the biggest of stages. Same with 18,000 in the PL. I guarantee by 2020 neither Chelsea or QPR will be at their respective stadiums
Yes we do. We take 18000 to home games. Our ground holds 18000. If that's not filling it up I've no idea what is.
First match back in the pRem for 17 years: 15k v Bolton Then 16k v Villa, blackburn and Newcastle. First 18k sell out v Chelsea in October, due mainly to away fans. Need I go on?
It's actually quite amazing that since beating you you've beaten us 6-1, won an FA cup and won the 'Champions' League and you still can't get over it. Why on Earth do you care what our crowds are other than being a continually sad bastard?
So you would have only given them half the schools end and there would have still be loads of empty seats in the home end. Relying on European champions with big away followings like Chelsea and united to fill out a stadium smaller than doncasters is embarrassing
I was at your game vs Stoke this year. Went with my mate. You filled 38000 in a 41000 stadium. Stoke sold out their allocation. How do you explain that?
We sold out every home game this year bar Birmingham in the FA Cup. Stoke would probably have been given a 3,000 allocation but filled 1,500. It's possible they would have sent some back, many clubs have done
