I like looking at the Northam and admire their noisy support, especially grateful when things are dire, but it's not for me. Luckily there are choices for everyone.

Chapel is dire,Itchen almost as bad, but i should imagine blocks 1,2 and 3 will be popular and quite lively next season. Save up,and go for the atmosphere if that is what you enjoy.
I am debating where to go next season, either Northam,Itchen 1-3 or Kingsland 34-36 are most likely.

Im in block 34, which used to be wings, but is now centre, apparently. I've been there last 3 seasons and it's got a decent atmosphere so I'll stay put I think. Gone up to over £600 but I've been saving since last season started so not too painfull.

I'm in 34 as well; now it's been designated centre, I might just move more towards the actual centre to get a better view. If I don't do that, I'll move into the wing for the cheaper prices. Whilst I like the atmosphere in 34 it's better nearer the Northam but the view is better nearer the centre. I just have to decide view or atmosphere?

Me and my two sons sit in the family as it helps the budget and once i am sat down and the action begins i just get into the game and i am watching the same match as anyone else in the ground and you still feel the general atmosphere of the day but ultimutly i am there to watch the game and take little notice of what goes on around me

Block 34 guys above, what dd you pay last year and what has it gone to. I've been abroad and not had chance to phone up. I'm in block 35 and getting ready to re-order.... hopefully. Just off to florist!

The Itchen corner will be cack next season as it will be full of kids thinking they're 'pwopa nawty'. It used to be predominantly adults and the banter was genius. Also I haven't looked at prices as I'm inquiring about other options, however I assume the price stated is the base price, and the actual price of the tickets will be £288 and £408 respectively.

last year was my first ST so as a new ticket holder it was around £450-480. Renewals were obviously a lot less.

I think Block 35 is still Kingsland North so will be £575 for renewal. Block 34 is now centre so is £625. mine has gone up from about £450 so about 30% increase. Bit disappointed there isn't a bigger saving for renewals as opposed to new purchases, but then again I had to find something to moan about, and that's all I could think of

The Chapel stand ISN'T the family stand next season remember. The family stand is back to being the Chapel/Kingsland corner again as it used to be, it would appear. So don't think that by paying the family stand price, you'll be nicely positioned in the Chapel stand.

No point listening to people's advice as to which stand is the best though. That's all down to personal opinion. I've tried all four stands, and the Chapel is head and shoulders the best stand for me. Northam the worst, by a hige distance. But as I say, that's only my opinion. You shouldn't base your choice on other people's opinions of what's good and what's not.
