Cup heartache for Higginbotham. Cruciate ligament injury rules Danny out of Wembley clash.

Radio Stoke also reporting this, saying he's out for 6 months.

And before the Collins bashing comes up, let's remind ourselves that he's a Stoke player and let's support the lad.

Never minded Collins at LB, but if I'm honest wouldn't mind seeing Dicko brought back in and given a go - as far as I know he's played well for pompey

I feel a bit sorry for Collins at times.
There are other players that make just as many mistakes as him, but his always seem to cost us.
He'd be much better if he got to play CB. Same as Huth got a bit of stick at RB, but Huth being a better player got away with it more than Collins does.

Mum told me he's out for six months, SUCH a shame he'll miss Wembley, would of loved him to have at least got a semi there! Damn shame when I think its more than just me who's noticed he's improving and looks brigher. Especially his cracking free kicks of late. :(

  5. I personally think it a tremendous blow for the team that Higgy is out. He is such a worker and a sweet left foot as you all know. I have severe doubts about Danny Collins at LB as his positional sense there is poor. TO back that up think about the first goal England scored against Wales. Ball by Johnson into space behind him to Ashley Young. I also consider that Danny is better at CB.

Let us hope that Higgy does attend Wembley on Sunday and is fit for next season
