Hi, I didn't see this posted here. Really nice compilation linked on /r/gunners. This obviously doesn't include tackles etc so no "he ain't no DM" remarks please. (warning: the volume is quite high)
Is he better than Wilshere in that role? Is he more consistent than Arteta? Who knows, maybe Wenger will put Song in a more attacking role, with Coquelin, Frimpong or M'Vila (if bought) behind him.
He certainly has an eye for a killer pass but is he better than Arteta and wilshere with whom he will be competing next year. Having said that I think he can alternate between the two positions after all we can't use M'vila all the time
I'm sure he can play more defensively if he's asked to, when Arteta or Wilshere cover the creative role. People are forgetting that a couple of seasons back he covered quite a few games as a CB quite competently. Has done the same for his country as well.
We need more like him, he's got all the skills to attack and set up, but he's got the size and strength to tackle/hold people off to give himself time to play them balls similar to paddy? size, strength but can play! If he learnt to blast them in from range he'd be top class!
You got that right. Stop rattling my cage PISKIE you know how I feel about Song, I get angry ... and .. you wouldn't like me when I am angry ...
"Biggie Smalls is the ill'est, your style is played out like Arnold yo - what choo talking 'bout willis" ........
I'm not a Song hater but for every pinpoint through ball to RVP, there's atleast two over-hit balls that go out for a goal kick.
