    to predict him to leave for villa is daft after what has just been said, but to say he'd then go to celtic shows an astonishing lack of knowledge. oh, its a binner. that explains that then... ;)

    The guy has no common sense. After the answer he gave about Holt was he really expecting Lambert to be fine about asking about his future. Should have also taken the hint when Lambert said it was Drury's night. The guy was v rude.

    Just looked this bloke up. On his website it says he is an authorative and respected journalist. <doh> he's certainly neither after being done over by Lambert! <laugh>

    I don't get this "arrogance" bit Superman. Rodgers had just signed a new contract; he is obviously happy at Swansea, as well he might be; everything about the club is good -- chairman, board, stadium, players, style of football, etc. etc. So why not just accept that he is being absolutely straight and honest when he says "I am not interested in moving anywhere else right now"? What exactly is "arrogant" about that?
