Just read that Norwich had their biggest away crowd of the season last night, a testimonial for Adam Drury against Celtic. Wonder if Aidy White popped along?

@carrics3 Leeds United confident that Joel Ward's transfer from Portsmouth will go through before long. #LUFC #PFC

Bet Bates really hates the Trust, he's not used to anyone challenging him :)

He's spent his whole life being challenged, and he almost always loses in the end.

From what I've read if it was just up to Ward he'd be coming to us. We'll see. Very worried that the policy seems to be sell to buy as we all know who the players we can sell are.

    Heres a question for you:
Most of us felt that Clayton was being 'sacrificed' by Warnock. I mean that Warncok would ideally have liked to keep him, but had to sell to buy. However this was when he was more confident of keeping snod, white and ross. Now it looks likely that we will lose at least 2 of them 3. Could this mean a lifeline for clayton?

Logi, I was thinking the same. Id certainly keep White, he wants to stay ffs.... I'd let Ross go, he misses too many. Would be lovely to get Beckford. Imagine Beckford, Becchio and Somma

Beckford seems to have gone from being under rated to being over rated

They are doing what they should be doing. Preying on the weakness of their competition instead of blithering on about not paying over the odds all the time. They know we don't like paying fees. So what do they do? Tell all their fans that rumour has it we can't afford the fee... that gets their fans excited. Then doubt builds in the players mind about whether Leeds is a good option if they can't even raise the fee... suddenly Ipswich looks an even better prospect than it did before.

http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....-a-frustrating-may-for-neil-warnock-1-4576482 if it is a rumour the YEP is also carrying the same story, we can't afford the £400k payment.

YEP are just regurgitating the rumour that Ipswich started. We probably can afford to do it if bates stops being a stingy prick, but this "sell to buy" strategy means he won't let any more fees go out until we sell. Of course, we could have a couple of million sitting there doing nothing, but that's set aside for pointless legal fees.
