The way he plays and the way he's built is perfectly suited to the Premiership, strong (hence the name), very quick, skillfull, fantastic left peg and a perfect fit into our system in my opinion. Only downside is the fee being thrown around which I pray to God isn't true!

Apparently Hazard has agreed 'terms' with the Manchester Clubs and us and will pick where he goes by 2nd June. Would be ideal signing for us and United to. Really can't see why City would want him given their attacking talent but hey ho, they'll sign him to stop others having him no doubt!! I think he will go to United personally.

Lots of reports linking us with Hazard, Hulk and Lucas. Assuming we get one, who would people most like to see? Hulk for me is the most established and most ready for the P.L with probably Lucas at the other end of the scale. However Hulk is the oldest and Lucas the youngest so who represents the best 'value'? Hazard lies in the middle of both but his wages seem really high and I have a feeling he'll end up in Manchester. Exciting signings being touted though. Certainly the type of players that will improve our first 11 no end.

It smacks of Neymar all over again and we should be steering well clear of these overpriced Brazillian 'maestros'! As I've previously mentioned, my plan would be to cut all the passengers as we appear to be doing, INCLUDING Malouda. With Kalou gone, I'll bet Hulk is a double replacement for Didier and Kalou. I'd keep Hutch as Bosingwa's replacement and we also have Todd Kane who can play both right and left who deserves a couple of League Cup games perhaps. We should keep McEachran unless someone is actually going to promise to play him in the majority of their games next season, I was shocked how little he was on the field at Swansea despite their quality in midfield.

I've just been reading an article in the Tmes that says that Roman is enraptured by the Newcastle wing man and is likely to be putting in an £18m bid for him. It also says that Newcastle wouldn't budge below £22m! I think this French International is a classy dribbler and would certainly add to our ability to play" pretty football" which our owner craves for, --but does this mean instead of, or additional to, Hulk?
I think Hulk is dead in the water. We have agreed everything with the player but are refusing to pay more than 32m. They won't budge from 38-40m. Remember,we can always offer Kalou another deal still And no thanks to Ben Arfa.
Is Ben Arfa worth it? I've seen him a few times whilst playing for the Geordies and he looks to be a good winger and he is still young. we need a right back to start with. If we got Debuchy and Ben Arfa down the right then that would be great.
