As the season is petering out limply, perhaps it's time to start considering who should be player of the Season. For me it has to be between Gerrard, Chester and Rosenior, and as Gerrard has only missed one game and been consitently the rock of our defence he'll get the nod for me. Rosenior will be second because he has simply been outstanding in defence and attack in and young Chester will be my third choice just behind Rosenior. ANyone else?
Opted for Rosenior, Gerrard a very close second if not tied first. I choose Rosenior mainly because he is our player whereas Gerrard is a loanee. That was the only thing that swayed me.
For me it has to be between Bullard and Ash, and we should get Browny back, we have not been so entertaining since that git Pearson got rid of him....................... **** you all have found out my alternative identity! Hang on, I might just get away with it, if I blame the team for the poor performance from the fans, yes, that's it then I can say that we were much better run under Duffin, and no-one will notice............. Aha, a cunning plan, if ever there was!!
gerrard for me. on a consistent level i think he's been outstanding and was exactly what we needed at that time. rosenior runs him close. will be interesting to see how fryatt and chester get on with a full season behind them.
I can't go for loan players otherwise Ayala and Manone would win hands down for me. From what I have seen I reckon Rosenior stands out from the rest.
Gone for Rosenior, for me the best right back in the division. Looking forward to him and Stewart linking up again next season, the right flank is hardly used with these pair missing. Find a similar pairing for the left side of the team over the summer and City will be laughing next season (if only it was that easy).
Barmby walks on water in my view, but I simply don't think he has had enough time on the pitch to be in the running for Player of the Season.
Gone for Rosenior, but was very tempted to vote for Stewart, it shows how much we've missed him these past few weeks, fingers and everything else crossed that he comes back the same player
How come Bullards name is not up above? C'mon, you know that under Government rules you cannot Socially Exclude minorities (i.e, Twf'ers)
Rosenior ahead of Gerrard as he was free and permanent, whereas we may only have Gerrard for the remainder of the season.
Gone for Gerrard regardless of his loan status, the guy is solid as a rock. Rosy is a close second, fantastic signing by the Pearsons, one of the best full-backs we've had for years, and all for nothing.
