Northenders and any Reading fans who might be around.

Tomorrow PNE travel to play the Royals still on a high following their win on Saturday, which was their third on the bounce. Still haunted by the thought of possible/probable relegation the whites are putting up a real fight to beat the odds, and this is what supporters want to see. Battle on to the season end and see where all this takes us.

As we all know football is a funny old game and nothing is guaranteed, never has been and never will be except as we all know sooner or later the unexpected will happen.
PNE are a revitalised team and having won their last three games will be looking to extend this winning sequence when they play at Reading.
Every time you play a team doing well and at the top end of the league and beat them as PNE did against Swansea, you begin to feel that the next one up will be easier. In this instance nothing could be further from the truth, Reading are yet another team PNE have to face riding high in a playoff spot and this one will be even more difficult than the game against Swansea.

Can PNE once again confound their critics and bring three points back to Deepdale and keep the great escape as a distinct possibility. The Royals wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't deserved and with home advantage and a playoff spot at least their goal, things look mighty tough for PNE in this game. However if PNE can reproduce their no nonesense approach and determination they might spring another surprise and get something from this difficult fixture.

I know PNE need all three points but I think a more realistic view (for a PNE fan) would be to grab a point.

What do you lot think about tomorrow night's encounter ????? your thoughts/predictions are welcome.

1-2, yet another suprise outcome :)

good result last night at QPR, sheff u looked a reasonable team until the 1st went in, Qpr are up now i feel, they only need 9 points to guarantee it, and that’s assuming Cardiff and Norwich win all their remaining games.

Personally i still think Donny are the team to catch as Palace seem to be a decent team at home!!

An unlikley win tonight and i will start to believe!!

4-5-1 line up? or will he start with 2 up front, it was strange how he changed it after about 20mins on Saturday

Getting rid of young Fergie was the best move for PNE. However even with the great result on Saturday, a draw would be a great result at Reading. Looking forward to going to Deepdale to watch the Cardiff game.

Well done Reading and I hope your winning form continues and you make the playoffs or maybe automatic promotion.

It was always going to be a mighty ask for PNE down at Reading, but they put in a spirited performance by all accounts and with luck could have grabbed a point. I suspect that was Browns game plan hoping of course that PNE might grab all three points.

Now PNE have to continue their battle and hope that other teams around them come unstuck in their remaining games. Not looking good but you never know.

    Thanks for your comments...<cheers>
