Finishing 3rd or 4th with no trophy is a POOR season. Say it loud and say it clear.

Hoarding cash and making huge profits year in year out whilst letting the team rot and trophy cabinet gather dust is a POOR strategy.

Dont be fooled by any of the rhetoric from Wenger apologists.

Dont be fooled by the money excuse.

Its time to wake up and be more demanding of our manager.

Yes - tonight has realy brought home just how much time we have wasted as a club hoarding money instead of relentlessly going after trophies.

We didnt need 1 billion though mate. We needed to spend maybe £100m over 5 summers (less than 2 years worth of ****ING PROFITS) but we didnt.

Now we need to spend 1 ****ing billion because we so much in the **** that all our players left. We had the core of a good side and needed to add to them. We didnt do this so they all left and we are left with crap like walcott, koscilney, son, gervinho and chamakh in the first team squad every ****ing week.

At least we have a better right back now! :emoticon-0148-yes: and as for the rest of this thread, what do you want us to do? Buy luck? 'cause that's why Chelsea won the Champions League. Our squad only needs a few upgrades before we can have a proper crack at the premier league title (including keeping RVP) so chill out.

Its much much more than luck. We have been losing our best players and not investing in the team. Wenger and the board are getting away with shoving this "sustainable financial model" bullshit dow our throats and fans are becoming accepting of no trophies. Not good.
 
Yes Chelsea were lucky, but look at their die hard , dogged defending. How many blocks did they make ? Our players would've scored a dozen own goals !

Well done Chelsea...how many people think Kroenke has seen this match and has extra determination to do something about it and make us compete again? Actually do you think he actually saw the match?

Oh wait, according to some of our fans, he's a decent clean cut businessman and we should be happy that he's making lots of money for himself....lets all laugh at Chelsea and Man City for having these dirty oligarchs spending dirty money and giving their fans all this pointless glory.

Nah - just very tired now of the apologists. Chelsea winning a CL with an average team and busting a gut to a man to win a trophy brings home just how badly we have performed for so long. As fans we need to demand more from our players and manager.

how is he making lots of money??? he is a shareholder not the outright owner shareholders get paid dividends which is a percent of the profits paid out to ALL shareholders, a single owner gets every thing if he wishes.
