Thankfully I am German. My parents were both born in Germany, one to German parents, one to a German mother and a Spanish father. I was born in Germany but moved with my parents to Chester with my father's work when I was 11 (so 12 years ago).

The problem with the Germans is that they are beer swilling football loving people. Remind you of any other European race?

I am Mark Zuckerberg and I have lots of money.

People can say anything they like on the net, doesnt mean its true.

but for the record pretty sure my name has German Origins, so somewhere along the line, I will probably have German Ancestors somewhere, still doesnt mean i have to like the frigging football there though.

"Beer swilling" - We know how to enjoy alcohol in moderation. Drinking culture is British culture, which is sad.

"Football loving" - We share that with the English, but unfortunately Football is like a lot of other things; invented by the English so the rest of the World can better them, perfect it and rub their noses in it about failing so badly.

Correct. It's funny you doubt what I am saying on here, as I am a member of another internet forum. On that, I was instantly sussed as not being English, and not speaking English as a first language, as I am apparently too 'proper' in my speech/writing. Bizarre.

The Bundesliga is highly regarded in Europe, and many of my friends here consider it the best league. It is certainly the most competitive, and the teams all like to pass it on the ground. Why the hatred of all things German? And why the hatred of German football? Is it jealousy? I like English football.

That game was 11 years ago, in a qualifying game. It wasn't even in the finals of a tournament.

I would consider this more embarrassing, given how many young players we had in the side and how you were favourites to win the tournament:

When did I use hate? in all honesty though I never watch it, only if a German Team is in the CL or the World Cup I will watch the Germans play football, but I always want England to win every match, just seems that for 95% of the time, you are our nemesis and yes, it does piss me off. (just Like Everton and Tim Cahill with Sunderland, they always win and he always scores, so I dont like either very much, but its nowhere near hatred).

Mind you its not all dislike, I wanted you to beat the Argentinians last time out.

anyway I am off to bed, night.

The majority of Germans consider England a secondary rival anyway. The Netherlands are the ones we focus our attentions on now, mainly because they've consistently had a good side (that's not a dig at England, it's a fact that you've had some very poor players and teams).

It's nice to hear that you wanted us to win though, even if it was only once <ok>

    1) Thick
in England this means a person is stupid.e.g '1+4 isn't 6,don't be so thick' 'are you thick! don't put your finger there'. originally thick head,or fat head but thick sounds better. if your an american in england, calling a girl thick will not go down well.it will mean that you think she is a dumb arse.
in ENGLAND : 'mate you are so thick, 1 squared isn't 2'.
in america, ( a great country, i've been on holiday):'that girl is thick'*.
*(for the english, thick in america means not skinny but not fat- a good shape)

I dont really consider you a rival at all, Scotland, Wales etc are the rivalries, but we very rarely play them and we nearly always beat them when we do anyway (so they must be bad lol)

Most of the time I just want us to do well, but if we get knocked out, I will watch all the World Cup/Euro games etc anyway, so you have to shout for someone, and that changes constantly from match to match.

Group Stages and if we are going to meet you somewhere, I dont want you to win, as the chances are, you will knock us out.

anyway NOW I am going to bed.
