Sadly he wont, I would love nothing more for them to crash and burn and all of their hoardes of plastics to be left in tears but he wont leave now and even if he did he has made them so big that they will just get taken over anyway
I does seem very bizarre. But you have to grow up with it to have that hatred. The lad's passion on here cannot be questioned.
F*** me watching Terry act like he was a part of it makes me sick. He should be sobbing in the stands while the guys who actually won it celebrate without him. The tw** wasn't even involved in the two performances that won them the UCL.
Sorry guys i hate chelsea as much as anyone on this board and would always want them to lose in the premier league, but against other european teams i will always back an english club especially against the arrogant german team.
DL, what the **** are you doing on an Internet forum when your team has just won the CL????? Go out and start drinking heavily immediately. Oh, and congratulations.
Hate to have to say it but well done Chelsea. Congrats District Line. To be fair none of them came on here rubbing it in after the 6-1. Let's get back to our own exciting future.
Congratulations to Chelsea it's now in history ... I hold strong views about Chelsea but not as a rivalry I just think that it's marketing gone mad I grew up in marketing and guess I thought that it would never touch football in the way it has. Good result for your team
Congrats Chelsea. But it was written in the stars from the moment the commentator said...."No London club has won the Champions league and wouldn't it be fitting that the Cup made it is way to London on the same day that the Olmpic flame also started it's journey also towards London". As Drogba said "destiny"
Perhaps we don't feature that high in their collective consciousness, what with the world having moved on these past 16 years. Perhaps the meaningful 'local' derbies are the ones they have with Arsenal and Spurs now. Perhaps we are their Brentford.
Doesn't stop Brentford from despising us!! I really, really, really hope we can do them over again next season, would soften the blow of what i've just witnessed !
For those of my generation - those Krauts don't like it up them - Chelski certainly chopped their buttons off this evening!
I think you're absolutely right. District Line and others have said as much. Surely part of the challenge now is to change this? Exciting times. Imo we've not been better placed to go forward as a club for 25 years.
Congratulations District and well done Chelsea. All season long we have getting the pundits licking up to Manchester and to think Chelsea have had a more successful season they both of them put together i can see Ferguson and Mancini smarting over this result would love to be a fly on the wall!
This. Football's gone mad full stop. You have to "buy-in" to the whole bullshit just to have a chance. The money men have taken over and the people's game will never belong to the people again. Those of us who can remember far back enough can recall a time when there was some semblance of a level playing field. We're just so many dinosaurs now, thinking back to the Corinthian Spirit and looking up at that ever-growing light in the sky.
