If West Ham lose today Green would be set to replace Kenny who is heading for Leeds... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-want-rob-green-the-west-839476
Playing in front of 400,000 every week and representing the self-proclaimed champions of Europe is a lure for any player.
I agree - he always seems to make average saves look spectacular and somehow people think he's international class.
Well, this presents a dilemma. If he plays a blinder today then the arrogant bastards will be promoted. If he makes a blunder and Ollie and the Tangerines come up would we actually want him?...
Don't get me wrong guys, i have no probs with foreign players coming in, but i would like to see at least a few home grown players bought in as well.
Igor. Their capacity is only 40k, the other 360k sit on the roof. Best supported club in the world by far and of course "champions, champions, champions of Europe"
Not sure what to think off this one, but seems from a lot of 'sources' (I'm in no way an ITK, i just stalk twitter) that Hughes is looking at Heurhelo Gomes of Tottenham, not someone who defines Consistency and has made a few clangers when low on confidence but on his day can be World Class and make saves only Paddy could dream of making. If its true, im not too sure what to think. Good or bad?
I've been a supporter of Gomes since day 1, he was treated very unfairly when he first came to England. In my book, he's a quality goalkeeper. Would also welcome green although I don't expect that move to happen
Green just seems hapless to me. While Id be delighted to get rid of Kenny, I think we can get someone better in. Gomes has been linked for a while and he is a very good keeper except for those blunders, maybe a change of scenery might do him good.
