I see Lambden has stolen your posting the pre match thread Kingsland. Ban? I hope for a saints win as always. I am not going to predict. I predicted we would go down to MK and fight back.
I have often thought that Hammond far from being a worthwhile captain is one of our weak links. If Dale Stephens can do similar job to Morgan and with a bit more mobility then it could be that Chaplow and Hammond will be fighting it out to be his midfield partner. Guly is an enigma to me and I am still not yet sure how we can best use him. Forte is I hope going to have a chance to play wide right to see if he can do a Chamberlain job for us.
If anything I would like to see more of this .... Think you lot get fed up of seeing yet another Kingsland Pre-Match Thread.
I think that Forte should be used as an impact sub. It was great that he scored 2 goals on Sat, but other than 2 tap ins I haven't seen enough to warrant a starting place. Stephens looks like a decent player to me, so hopefully he will get a start. I'm not too worried about BWP, I've never rated him. We need to get revenge for the away game where Charlton looked poor and the linesman cost us a valuable 2 points. I'm predicting a 3-0 saints win. COYR!
Welcome to not606 saint1985 Make sure u tell your mates about this site! Any problems Beddytare and I are mod's for the Saints Board : feel free to drop me a message if you have any problems
Charlton have improved slightly since the last game with a draw at Bournemouth and beating Leyton Orient. Can possibly see them sneaking a draw but going to edge with a 2-1 win to Saints. I seem to be doing pretty well with my predictions recently so gonna put a few quid on that score tomorrow.
Charlton have clearly got out of that awful run of results they were having.Their team were right in the promotion race until the new year so a return to form makes them difficult opposition. And then there is BWP! Saints need to play well again tomorrow to get the 3 points! I can't see N A making many changes, although Jaidi could probably benefit from a break to keep him fresh for the Orient match. Could Martin come in and keep BWP out of the game?
Edited the team news and inserted the current from. On another note - my match preview is much better than the OS's which includes the oppositions latest and upcoming fixtures as MK Dons stats!
Not fussed who scores, I will take a 1-0 "bounced in off a charlton defenders bum- own goal" if it means three points! I still haven't quite recovered from Saturdays efforts. Regarding Chaplow, I really like the fella, the fact that he gives 100% is enough for me. Guly on the other hand Im not so convinced with
i reckon itll be a high scoring match for us, after coming back from 2 down on sat, so my guess is 4 - 1 or 5 - 1, there must be bucket loads of cofidence in the building now
I want to predict a high scoring win for Saints and think we're perfectly capable of giving some-one a thumping but Charlton will be slightly conservative in their approach (not as much as other teams) and we'll have to , for once - PERFORM WELL AND GET A GOAL IN THE FIRST HALF!
Don't you think that everyone is getting far too excited about this forte lad? Important two goals but end of the day it was two tap ins, and other than that he is unproven. I think NA will wait until he proves himself a bit more before breaking up the starting Barnard/Lambert partnership up top, and Guly is better than him out on the right. Think NA will stick with a similar team and use forte as an impact sub. --------------- Davis------------------ -Richardson--Fonte---Jaidi---Harding---- -Guly----Stephens---Hammond--Lallana- ---------Lambert----Barnard------------- With forte on the bench.
