Good luck on the TWTD forum, have you actually spent any time on there? Because I can tell you it's a ****ing crazy forum, it's a forum for fans of Ipswich to discuss what we want to discuss, which doesn't have to be football... Some of the banter on there is sublime, but threads get hijacked all the time, you'll get picked up on punctuation, spelling, everything, there are some serious Ipswich WUMs on there who will take no prisoners and everybody's happy to fight amongst themselves...There's even a handful of Budgies who post and regularly get slaughtered too... If you can't handle the banter here you most definitely won't like the TWTD forum, that's not to say that it's bad, I myself think it's great! Good luck, anyway!
Like I said yesterday, it says something about the state of our club when we are fighting amongst ourselves about what's the best thing to do. Whilst reading the insults and bickering can get a bit tedious, it is equally boring to keep having the same discussions about what to do. It seems like we are always going in circles and never getting anywhere and I think that's where a lot of the frustration comes from. We all like not606 because it is an open forum, where fans from other teams can come on here and either say something constructive or just try to take the piss. I don't want to see that change, nor do I want to post on an Ipswich only forum. I don't only want to discuss football matters on here, I also want to have a laugh with football fans from around the world. There will always be rivalries but in the end we are all part of the football family, as can be seen when incidents like Muamba's collapse brings everyone together.
PTC you've as much right to use this forum as anyone else. I'm happy to curb my abuse on most posts if this helps <crossesfingersbehindbacksmiley>
I appreciate your comments JWM. I have not really been on the TWTD forum but am willing to give it a try. Undoubtedly there is more of the same which goes on here over there, the so called banter(depends what you call banter). There's taking the p*ss (which is funny) and then there is constant insults which isn't banter it's being rude. But it looks abit more like the old606 over there, you see people moaning about each other but at there same time there is quite alot of good discussion about football. Like I've said on here it seems to be getting a bit 1 dimensional with only a few posters regularly commenting. And if I don't like it, I'm going to go and sit myself in a dark room and cry!!
Come on enough already! Fat **** is leaving Norwich soon to be followed by Lambchops. As we've got **** all worth talking about as far as Town is concerned I'm off to get totally ****ered!
