I've seen you use some pretty shocking language on here at times nolhman. This is a public forum, and you're a role-model to thousands of WUMs around the world.
I think we may appeal to try and get the ban down by one game so he can face City. We may need him for that one. If the ban gets extended by a game he'd only miss the Newcastle match. Missing the Fulham match isn't a great loss - means he'll be fresh for the second leg against the Chavs. Nope. FA disciplinary handbook: "Player Sent Off Under Law 12 (6) - Using offensive or insulting or abusive language/gestures will be suspended for 2 matches" Spitting is a three match ban.
Not surprised after these incredible harsh words Furious FA chiefs brand F-word Wayne Rooney a blithering nincompoop - http://www.thenewsgrind.com/sport/f...-brand-f-word-rooney-a-blithering-nincompoop/
But Rooney said it directly into a T.V.Camera knowing kids would be watching Not good mate! right call this time by the F.A.
Maybe, but the punishment shouldn't be determined by the visibility of the crime. Otherwise you're effectively saying that if a player swears into a camera in a game that isn't live, it doesn't matter.
Yeah it is disgraceful. Firstly the FA thought about writing him a letter. What good in sweet ****ing jesus would that do.?The stupid fat granny shagging **** can't read. Then they were going to fine him, that wouldn't bother either,as he would get his agent to write him a cheque. Two games isn't enough,it should be at least 10 for the fat granny shagging ****.
Do you know what the funniest thing was. Man United fans at Stamford Bridge screaming ''You Scouse Bastard'' in the direction for Fernando Torres, who is Spanish, and do you know who was standing beside him only Shrek who is from Liverpool. So technically they were without realising it,were insulting Shrek.Or maybe in the eyes of Ushited fans Evertonians aren't Scousers, only Liverpool fans are.
Some fans take football way too seriously. By all means love your club and hate your rivals, but you don't need to direct such bitterness to people you have never met.
OTT, petty and ridiculous. This is a punishment on the basis of who he is and who he plays for. Do not be simple enough to believe the punishment is because of the offence.
That was Uefa, and he got banned for it as well...I think it was the first three or four of the group stages...can't remember exactly...
Nah, just have a lot of experience at using Google as a research tool. I have to do it for my job, so finding stuff has become second nature to me now. Comes in handy for shooting down ignorant opposition fans He got a four match ban for abusing the ref, chasing him round the pitch, and swearing at the camera. But it was reduced to one match on appeal - probably one of the reasons Rooney thinks he can appeal against his ban being two games.
