I'm sure Phil Jones was picked on versatility, but I am quite perplexed at the decision to bring Defoe. Also Downing, I mean really? David Beckham deserves a place in this squad if downing does.

 

I deserve a place if that useless tit downing does.

I feel very bad guys. Here we are slagging off certain players, and they could well prove us wrong...

Imagine if Downing has a storming game and scores more goals and gets more assists than he did in the ENTIRE season?! We would look like real twats... I bet no other squad has players who can better their entire season's contribution in one or two matches...

 

If Stuart Downing brought Roy a cup of tea that would be a bigger contribution than he has made all season. He'd probably miss though

Why is it that the only person in england to choose downing is the england manager! What do they see that we all dont! Is he scoring some goals, or making assists in some sort of virtual world that only england managers get to see! It is incredible!
