Germany for the win. Fantastic young squad, full of energy. Goetze / Ozil / Bender / Reus / the team to beat in my eyes.

Spain - Can they win 3 in a row? The forward position appears to be a problem area. Not convinced.

Holland and Italy will be the two major disappointments for me. Holland have many players in not the best condition / out of form for example Sneijder. van Bommel is a year older, and they're toying with the idea playing Van Persie AND Huntelaar together. Could go out to Portugal in the group.
The Italian squad doesn't overly impress me !

Not sure what the hell to expect from England !

Croatia dark horses. Good squad all around, tight defence, goalscorer and Modric a midfield wizard.

France ( less so ) could go well. Don't have the clown Domenech any longer, M'Vila / Ribery / Benzema etc in great form. Ones to watch.

    france are my dark horse.

unbeaten in two years. young, adventurous squad with a handful of experienced players. won away to spain, germany and italy in that time (albeit friendlies). nice kit (although that may not be a factor in whether they win it or not!). good individuals who are finally playing as a team. as is the case with all french sides, you never quite know what they are going to do. the sensible bet is without doubt the germans. it'll take a lot to stop them but i'm going to back the french <ok>

I have to agree, look to have one of the strongest squads.

As for Spain, I think Llorente could well be very good for them. I was very impressed with him in the UEFA cup, I'm surpised a PL team haven't gone in for him yet.
