Its going to be a mighty long summer for these Budgies praying that the messiah won't leave them in the ****!
I think this post highlights how little you understand the situation. We will spend the summer praying that the messiah won't leave because he is ****ING INCREDIBLE. We will not spend the summer praying that the messiah won't leave us in the **** because our club is so far from being left in the **** we're struggling to find a toilet
thats the thing though. we won't be left in the **** will we, cos he's done such a remarkable job that we have a fantastic foundation to build upon. we'd be an attractive proposition for the next young manager and we have a CEO who knows his football and will probably already know who he wants should lambert leave. for what its worth, i don't see lambert leaving us this summer. i could be wrong but even if i am, i won't be panicking. i suppose this all goes to show just how jealous you lot are of our situation. you realise that if lambert doesn't go sooner rather than later that he'll just keep on building with us and i'm damn sure you know that and it annoys you like crazy, hence why you are all so excited that he may be off. its quite embarrassing actually, to see the pettiness and the eagerness for him to sail off into the sunset. we'd be weaker without lambert, no question, but who knows who we'd be able to bring in to replace him. whatever happens, we've got an exciting summer ahead with new signings and the stadium capacity being lifted further, more than can be said for you lot who have to get their excitement from us!
I find it most tiresome and pointless trying to discuss football with any binners at the moment due to the embarrassing and pathetic way their football Club is being run at present. JWM is a good laugh but hampy, guru and blue monkey have become a bunch of big gay bears.
Your right Supers there's feck all going on with our sorry little club so I guess we will all be camped on your board all Summer! Just think you might even get to like us!
⦠Mike you knob, don't you understand the business FACT that sits behind this..... Forget football for a moment, someone who is damn good at their job (and Lambo is damn, damn good at his) will always be an attraction to other companies in the same line of business - it's called headhunting and happens in the commercial world every day so why wouldn't it happen in football which after all is a business. It doesn't always follow that even if you go out and try to attract someone else to your company (or club) with offers of better wages, bonuses, working conditions, advancement, etc, etc that the perosn being touted will automatically say yes and join your company (or club) as that person may be content where he or she is and wants to see their current job through before considering something else. That is not to say they wont be flattered or tempted by offers from elsewhere but sometimes staying put at a company (or club) that values you, backs you and gives you a positive vision for the future is often a better bet than moving to a place where the grass isn't always greener. Lambo knows his own mind and what he wants to do and will consider, very carefully, what is on offer and where he sees himself as a "best fit". If he goes, which I sincerely hope he doesn't, he goes with the grateful thanks of all City supporters who respect and value everything he has done for the club. If he goes, we will have someone in mind to replace him (that's the way the Board works nowadays), and any compo we will get from Lambo's new club will be used to secure the services of a good manager and strengthen the superb squad that Lambo has assembled. At least we have another exciting season to look forward to (with or without Lambo) but I guess you too are excited about the propsect of a local derby with Crawley Town (not that I have anything against Crawley)....
Like a dog with a bone you are Dave Bad timing for you lot this Liverpool business. I can honestly see FSG pinpointing PL. back to back promotions and a decent first Prem season might perversely be your bad luck Still there's always Steve mclaren
i actually wouldn't be against appointing steve mcclaren. i mean, i know its not the done thing to like ssschteeeve mcclaren and it won't come to that but... there, i said it! i think if he finds the right club he'll be successful, very successful. at twente he found that club. doesn't mean there aren't others. he's an excellent coach.
Deluded binners part 12 with some col who contribution No doubt they will be back tomorrow for some more Hardly in a mess if lambert leaves with McNally in charge! Compare him to clueless clegg let's be Avin ya!
i have heard a whisper that villa have made an approach to city tonight to ask for permission to speak to lambert. nothing confirmed though so may be nothing in it but i think we all expect it at some stage anyway
At least we wouldn't roll over 1-6 and give them the title.I'd laugh to see them walking away from Carrot Rd swathed in bandages and on crutches.Joey is a one man war.Great entertainment though. If the Argies try for the Falklands again we wont need a task force Dave could just send him.
