The only fact wet-the-bed-budgie is that you’re clearly having a breakdown under the strain of Lambert’s imminent departure heralding the beginning of the demise for you budgerigars.
ooh, well done, you've proven my point. what was it i said? two or three times more revenue? as it happens it was somewhere in the middle. now ok, you're right that they don't have champions league football this year but they are one of the biggest clubs in world football. their sponsor alone makes them £25m a year. between 2008 and 2011, villa were sponsored by a charity. admirable yes, but they made nothing from it. liverpool sell shirts around the world, villa do not, at least not to anywhere near the same levels. anyone who thinks villa have as much money to spend as liverpool do need their head checking
you know me so well. i'm literally trembling with fear that we'll lose our manager. he'll leave us with such an awful squad of exciting england prospects. thing is, unlike you, if he goes he'll go with my blessing and i'll hope he is a massive success at his new club because he's a legend.
I didn't realise the numbers were so knowledgeable in premiership matters after their decade of underachievement and being nowhere near getting promoted to it.
Brave words budgie, however we all know it won’t take long for your squawking to become bitter as you plummet down the leagues. ‘Exciting England prospects’? LMFAO!!
Mike Ingham on Radio 5 live has mentioned Lambert in the race for the Liverpool job so it won't be him then!
please log in to view this image Mike fantasy but, obviously as a 14 year old Essex Chav sitting in his cousins citroen saxo listening to JLS
Wigan have a vastly superior squad than Norwich’s bunch of prized turnips that’s for sure. They’re an established Premiership club with a top drawer Chairman in Whelan unlike a mere chancer like Bowkett and his unscrupulous opportunistic sidekick McNally.
It is amazing we have got so lucky getting to the prem and staying up, clearing debts by next year and looking at stadium expansion. What a fluke the last 3 years have been. I wonder how long our luck will last?
Until Lambert publically ends all the speculation by saying he will be staying at Norwich next season this feeding frenzy will continue. Why didn't he just say that his future is at Norwich when he was given the chance?
Because he didn't know if he would or wouldn't. Like Martinez hasn't said anything, because he doesn't know, or Hughton or any of the others linked with the job that have a current club. How can Lambert possibly know- if Villa come along and offer us £2m to break Lambert's contract and not match their deal, for example, it will be up to McNally and the board to decide whether to accept or reject that. Lambert can do nothing and knows nothing. The best we could hope for is that he says he WANTS to stay. I think he more or less has said that
because he can't! why can't people understand this? is it really that difficult to comprehend??? (what rob said above basically. its not like he is desperate to leave, he's very happy here, its more that you never know what might crop up and if the right offer comes along he'd be a fool not to take it. whether thats villa or liverpool, who knows, but he isn't going to lie to us and i for one appreciate his honesty!)
I don't understand why so much is made of PL not saying anything when Martinez's answer was almost a carbon copy nobody blinked an eyelid
