Scum Rumour of the Day!!!

Just had one of the members of the golf club i work at come up with a right GEM. According to a reliable source, according to the SCUM supporter Pardew is on his way very soon. He has only been working here for Ashley to pay off his gambling debt that he owed to Ashley from his casino in London. That debt is now settled so he is supposed to be on his way very soon. I cant believe the crap some of them come out with sometimes!!!!

Right, even assuming the gambling debt thing was correct, Pardew would quit days after having received 2 manager of the year awards and completing his most successful season of his career why ?

If the story was that Chelsea or someone wanted him, then I wouldn't beleive it but at least it would make some sort of internal sense. The idea that Pardew has decided to opt for unemployment at the apex of his career to date just because he is out of debt doesn't make any sort of sense.

 

Also pretty sure Ashley doesn't own a casino. It is Lambias who owned or ran the casino. Ashley was just a punter there and met Lambias as a result.

 

This is just one of many of the pearls of wisdom i have heard over the past season whilst here. I just thought i would put it out there cos i thought it was so f**kin ridiculous

 

My word someone needs to get a life, rather than coming up with such pathetic rubbish, like their football team. Would laugh at him if Pardew lasted longer here than O'Neill.

 

Neither looks likely for the chop, but if either owner was set to be dissatisfied, it would be O'Neil on the carpet. When he took over they were in what place, how many points off relegaton and how many points behind us ?
They finished the season where ? I can't be arsd to look it up, but I don't think his results have been any better than Bruce's or that he has improved their standing in any numerical way.

 

12th when Bruce was sacked, finished 14th didnt they?

 

This guy has just been on holiday and heard from a reliable source in Spain somewhere. This is the same guy that said we were lucky where we finished because we had no injuries all season!!! If we had the same injury problems as S**ndrland we would be in a similar position to them he said!! Listen I am as even minded as the next bloke but when you here that sort of crap you have to have a laugh!! Then again I was the guy that ran round the car park, shouting "Toon Army" when Charlton beat them in the playoff final. So I have some history with them!!

I got told the other day that Ashley's takeover was illegal and when he leaves we will go into liquidation. It's a fact unfortunately. Apparently.

Sorry mate as a Sunderland fan I have to defend this statement, to say results have not been as good as Bruce's is mental.

When Bruce was sacked we were in 17th position with 11 points with 2 wins after 14 games.

O'Neill came in and finished 13th with 45 points with 9 wins after 24 games.

So results have improved and he has improved us numerically, sorry I just got a bit defensive when I saw this statement as Im sure you would if our lot were saying stuff like this.

 

I should have been arsed enough to look up the figures I suppose. Apologies for that.

And to be fair to MON, it wasn't his team.
