I'm not convinced Liverpool will go with Martinez. I think they may look abroad for a big name appointment. Although they have quite a few British players so may want someone nearer to home. Either way I don't think they will come in for PL, but if they get Martinez as people say Villa will go for Lambert and it remains to be seen if he would go.

Wigan will come in for Lambert if Martinez goes to Liverpool. They are a bigger club and established in the Premier League afterall!

agree DM. i think rodgers would be approached before lambert. not because he's better but because of the media's perception of him fitting the 'liverpool way'. its villa who are the problem at the moment and i'm very confident that's not going to be the right club for lambert at the moment.
