Tiote isn't angry, but he does have that natural predator instinct in him, and even though he doesn't do anything to hurt anyone, there are times where he goes in with a lot of force and knocks someone over.

Tiote isn't aggressive/angry like Cattermole and Barton, but you can see there's a flame within him that wants to get stuck in.

Both Douglas and Tiote have aggression. Aggression and being a violent **** are two different things.

I was exaggerating when implying we signed everyone we were linked with last season.

But I was responding to Mr Tiote who said we wouldn't sign anyone we were linked with, and we did sign a lot of players that we were linked with for quite a while.

Not all our signings were out of the blue and random.

 

So who did you travel down to Everton with Tash? Mick from the BP came on our coach selling "The Mag" but I couldn't be bothered trying to read it on the coach and I haven't got around to reading it yet.

 

would still love to see him here, and i think alot of you would too, could do with another tiote type player in the squad. if we did sign him then him adjusting to the prem just ease him in slowly etc games here & there, sub apearances etc to start till he gets used to it

 

He's not on a free last I heard, could be wrong though.

 

Just checked, Douglas his contract runs out this summer. However, Fc Twente have the option to add a year to his contract. No clausules are in the contract that are in motion when there is interest in the player by other clubs, domestic, abroad or in the Dutch league. So a transfer fee still is applied, no discounts by clausules.

 

I thought his disciplinary issues were common knowledge.

 

That first video of him has really put me off. Very reminiscent of Barton at the weekend. Don't want anyone like that in our squad thank you.

Me too. I've made plenty reference to them in particular the incident he ended up with a lengthy ban for. Personally I think there are better options but whatever Carr thinks is fine with me.

 

TBF Douglas got mugged off with those two red cards in the videos. First one he gets fouled and swings his arm at the bloke and misses. The second one was a blatant Ashley-Young-style dive.

Although no excuses for his Barton-esque assault...

I saw that video of the fight and ref , and you know what's the first thing that came to my mind? Not Barton... Dyer and Bowyer...we really should stay away from such untempered tempers..
