Random thread I know but would be intresting to hear peoples thoughts-

To start off - If I had a mare/Filly- I would call her Aphrodite or if I had a gelding/colt - I would call him Gamble

One of the best names I have ever come across was a sprinter about 15 or so years ago called Jafeica, which the owner told me stood for Just Another F***in' Expense I Can't Afford.

<laugh> Love it. Could have set a trend here. Any more suggestions along these lines? Eg Coyfuet

PS I've just checked and it does not have a French translation.

Robbie Fowler wanted to call one of his horses Some Horse and enter his against his best mates horse which was going to called Another Horse...

The commentary of Some Horse beating Another Horse would have made for a few laughs...<laugh>

    They didnt get there wish...

Dont know if i would get all sentimental and name him/her with a great sounding name but i would have Red in the name somewhere...

I assume you mean "Red " as in Red Rose, Red Sky at Night

    rather than

    Inbred, Homebred, Redeemer etc

There used to a sprinter called Mary Hinge...obviously a spoonerism.

Also Hoof Hearted used to run in SA I think.

There was one in Ireland the other day called something like Xollobs God. In reverse that is Dog Sbollox.

I can't find the precise name but it was along those lines . . . .

The authorities don't let many slip through their grasp.

They probably thought "My Face" was distasteful (change to Urface). Can't see why "My Tits" wouldn't be allowed (Mitits) or perhaps Urtits

Maybe it's just me, but tits in any word just seems to jump off the page. Probably wouldn't get past. <laugh>

Just searched all the runners between 1/10/11 and 30/4/12 and not one horse containing the letters "tits" strung together.
