Right as the Euro's arent a million miles away now i thought i would start a thread and leave it as a sticky rather then us keep creating articles about what happens

I will start with England. I dont think we stand much chance of winning, Minimum requirement is to get out of the group stage but we should be aiming for at least the semi's. Wayne Rooney missing the first 2 games could be a good thing as he will come into the team fresh and with a point to prove. Chris Smalling has been ruled out of the Euros and Scott Parker is now a doubt.

The last 2 tournaments i have said Spain and got it right but i dont think they will win this one. Carlos Puyol is a doubt for the tournement. Spain's talisman David Villa has been injured for a long time and their other striker Fernando Torres hasnt shown any decent form for years. Their midfield is class, no other word for it. Alonso, Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta, Silva, Pedro, Sergio Biscuits to name them. But i think lack of cutting edge might cost them

But i think Holland will be the team to beat for this tournament and i think they will win it. They have alot of quality all round the pitch and with the form on Van Persie and Sneidjer i think they will do it.

So who do people think will win it?

Nigel has worked with the FA before so maybe but now he is the manager of a club maybe he wouldnt want to?

Or it could be a great way to scout players?

Its hard to call this time round, (like it wasn't last time!) but I reckon the Germans will have a great chance.

Spain - still too good for anyone else and with the Athletic Bilbao players coming in as well, will just outplay anyone.

Trouble with Holland is that for every good player there is a useless one. Their defence is pretty poor but they have one of the best attacking forces in the world. Only Argentina has a better one in my eyes.

If Van Persie can finish 3rd in the prem in sure with some very good players around him they would be more then capable of winning the euros

Sorry I don't quite get what you mean.

Unfortunately they have players like Elia, Heitinga, Van Bommel, Heitinga, Van Der Wiel, Matheijsen and Kuyt who are nowhere near good enough to win it.

If they had the defence of Brazil (Alves, Silva, Lucio and Marcelo with Cesar in goal) they'd **** all over these Euros and the World cup.

Van Der Wiel looks class from what i have seen of him, and Heitinga is a very good player. Kuyt passed it and was average before hand i same with Van Bommel. Never heard of the rest

Exactly. If they were good then you'd have heard of them.

Although to be fair Elia I think is a target of Liverpool. A young tricky winger but not the end product yet.

Another nation I think will do well is France. Surely their squad is too good? Benzema, Ben Arra and Ribery in top form at the moment. M'Villa, Nasri, Clichy, Evra, Sakho, Remy and Bafetimbi Gomis.

So was Jordan Henderson at one point. Is he a good player now?

Tough question. I just think he was shoved in the deep end. Couldn't handle a 20m price tag at a massive club at only 20 years old.

Will be a good player though. But he's certainly not been good enough yet.

Watching the special report on sky last night they was looking into the Ukraine hooligans. They said they dont like Tottenham as they are full of jews. They said Scotland is full of indians and refered to them as pa**s. They said they are going to target the England fans in the summer and then they met up with some fans and kicked the **** out of them.

They said they are going to target Indians and warned to England fans not to upset them.

The two biggest hooligan gangs are teaming up over the summer to protect "the honour" of Ukraine

Have you got a link to that report?

And Scotland full of Indians? - Full of drunken ginger albinos more like.

What does Ukrainians have against Indians anyway - also do they actually realise that India isn't in Europe so won't be in the Euros?
