Strangely enough, yes! If the rules were reversed you'd be saying exactly the same thing that I posted. When the administrators came in there was a 4 point gap. There was no indication that it was getting any bigger.

So who exactly tainted the title? Rangers. Why were Rangers stripped of 10 Points? Because they Broke "the rules" and they were punished under the current rules which means a 10 point deduction. If a player trips another player in the penalty box and a penalty is awarded are you saying that it would be a "Tainted Penalty"? And please don't tell me what I would do if the roles were reversed, you don't even know me.
