It has been confirmed that Alex McLeish has been dismissed by Aston Villa.

No surprise here, but who will be the surprise choice to replace him.

    Dave Jones,anyone?

Lambert and Martinez seem to be the top choices - but why not Rodgers I wonder.

And Martinez now linked with Liverpool if Dalglish gets the chop.

Martinez turned them down not too long ago,so I can't see him going there, but Lambert looks like a good call.

Seems like somethings cooking Delia, albeit on the back burner. <whistle>

IMO no prem manager would go to Villa, there doesn't seem to be any money available, and I mean real money to rebuild a team that's been devastated by selling their better players? Why would you go to a lower placed team who, you would suppose be on the fringes of another relegation battle next season?
