Merson obviously had a few hundred grand on Man city at 1-7.. so he has recouped some of his losses from the online bookies unfortunately Man Ure fans were lumping big punts on at 90 mins at odds of 1-33.. gotta feel sorry for them :- shame we didnt come back with the win but at least the title was in our hands.. and i wouldnt be surprised if we got a player or two from Man City as a token of their gratitude..
Yeah, me too. I console myself with the thought that, had we done so, Manure and that cheating git Young would have won it. As it was, Fergie was pipped at the post in the most agonising fashion, proving that every cloud has a silver lining.
