Could suggest being sympathetic as everyone makes mistakes, and it only takes a second to get a rush of blood to your head and lose your temper. But, his laughable claim on twitter many weeks ago saying: "Why would anyone need to solve a conflict by having a fight?" makes me think what an idiot. He would be out of the door if he was wearing the red and white of Saints today.
can you imagine the likes of jimmy case playing today? he would get a red card in the first 10 minutes. difference is with him it was business- nothing personnal
He will never sort out his behaviour with people shouting abuse at him and trying to aggravate him.He has got some anger problems that he needs sorting out and if he tries to sort them out them he will be able to overcome his problems and not get so angry.
He stated on twitter that after he never lost his cool, he was trying to get a city player sent off to even out his sending off. So it has nothing to do with anger management issues, and everything to do with him being a class A bell end
Jimmy would have stuck this weasel into row z and it would be better medicine than the reform and therapy some suggest it is my opinion this guy is a wrong un and always will be any one who has attempted to put his cigar out in someones eye is beyond contempt i should think even his mother finds it hard to love him
Someone has written an open letter to Barton - brilliant: http://mrjimmycorkhill.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/open-letter-to-joey-barton.html
My opinion of Barton has just been lowered further by a tirade against Alan Shearer. Shearers still on my case..."I know I f*cked up Alan, thanks for stating the obvious." Whilst were both stating the obvious about each other, can I just say for the record what a great player u were. Well better me... But I have a better hair(which is not hard), wear well better shirts on TV and have a personality(something u lack). I really don't like that prick, in fact I honestly despise him... Goodnight. What a stupid thing to do, talking like that about one of the country's most beloved sportsmen of all time.
Piers Morgan is an absolute bellend but I'd happily back any abuse of Barton from him. I wouldn't piss on Barton if he was on fire.
Barton is a despicable human being. Just watched him on MOTD and boy... what a c*nt. Would happily beat the sh*t out of him, but I guess that would lower me to his level. Despise the man.
"The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take one of theirs with me. It never worked but god loves a trier." So it was a ploy, blimey, throw the book at him on this one I say. Six month ban sounds about right, & someone stop the twit twittering please!
barton vs morgan, the battle of the arsehole's. I was hoping QPR were going to go down this season, really dislike the way they've approached the premier league
What a twat. Alan Shearer isn't one of the better pundits but he isn't the all time PL top scorer for nothing. And he seems to be a decent person as well.
Barton just seems to have a self destuct button. He's clearly a top player but a hell of a risk to have in your side.
In fairness to Barton it was a very harsh sending off considering Tevez had a couple of swings at him before the little elbow. It should have been two yellows or two reds. Then he was in a situation where he thought his team were getting relegated, and fueled by a sense of injustice lost the plot completely. I can see why he'd think kneeing Aguero could benefit the team but it's a disgraceful thing to do even if he had the right intentions for his side. It definitely riled City a lot and I don't think City would have won that game if QPR hadn't already heard they'd stayed up and switched off completely at the end
Tevez did drop like a sack of the proverbial. If Barton had of had another pop at him, rather than Aguero, it might have been possible to excuse him. Perhaps he just doesn't like Argentinians, which is kind of understandable when you consider some of their antics over the decades.
